- 1984: Founded as Premier Manufacturing Support Services (MSS) in the USA.
- 1999: Premier MSS commences operations in the UK.
- 2005: Premier becomes part of Voith Industrial Services, a specialist in facility and production services.
- 2010: Premier expands its outlook to provide high quality facility services to related industries, i.e. the transport sector.
- 2010: Premier MSS (UK) Ltd. is renamed Voith Industrial Services Ltd. on October 1st, as part of a massive global rebranding exercise.
- 2013: Voith Industrial Services acquires the business and undertakings of ThyssenKrupp Services.
- 2016: Voith completes the selling of the Group Division, Voith Industrial Services.
- 2017: Voith Industrial Services has a new name: Leadec.

Our management systems are certified to ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, OHSAS 18001 and ISO/TS 16949. We are also SAFE contractor, Achilles (Automotive, UVDB, Building Confidence), FGAS and Gas Safe registered. These documents are available on request.
Gender pay reporting
Under new legislation, employers with more than 250 employees must provide statutory calculations every year showing how large the pay gap is between their male and female employees.
At Leadec we welcome the introduction of gender pay reporting as this represents a key milestone towards the achievement of gender equality in the workplace. We consider gender pay reporting as an opportunity to drive real change that will benefit not only our organisation, but also the wider economy and the population as a whole. We understand that there is a shortage of female participation in the automotive, manufacturing and facilities sectors and, to this end, we are pleased to confirm that 50% of our Board of Directors in the UK are female. Nevertheless, our ambition is to further improve female representation at Leadec and to consider how we can promote inclusion and equal opportunities for all.
