“We service multiple industries but maintain particular focus on food & beverage, FMCG and the parcel industry. Our customers choose to use our services because of our industry-specific knowledge,” says Simon Sliwinski, Managing Director of Elmleigh, whose father founded the company.
Elmleigh’s capabilities include full system design, assembly and installation for both the electrical and mechanical elements of customers’ automation projects. The company is ISO 9001 certified and SSIP accredited and boasts a highly trained team. Elmleigh currently serves over 280 customers, including some of the largest operators in the food and beverage and parcel distribution sectors throughout the UK and Europe.
Growing the people and the company
In the past four decades close to 10,000 projects were successfully delivered. “We have a team of 80 people who develop, build and integrate control systems and software for industrial applications, and we have a dedicated engineering group that deploys and manages skilled, certified engineers to implement projects around the world,” explains Simon Sliwinski.
The 40th anniversary was celebrated with a family party and the whole team at the headquarters in Hinckley, Leicestershire, on November 22, 2024. In 2022, the company moved into the new building, which provides state-of-the-art facilities for their operations and capacity for growth.
2022 saw another significant development: Elmleigh became part of the Leadec Group, the leading global service specialist for factories across their entire their life cycle and related infrastructure. With its strong presence in the manufacturing industry, it is a strong partner for further expansion plans.
