“We look back on over 25 years of successful cooperation and are delighted to be celebrating this important day together. Thank you for letting us be part of this success story at the VW plant in Polkowice,” said Przemysław Pendrowski, Managing Director of Leadec Poland.
He presented a trophy commemorating this milestone as a gift to Stefan Kiendl, CEO of Volkswagen Motor Polska, and Jacek Rostkowski, the plant's production manager.
"15 million engines are more than just a number. They are a reason to be proud, because behind them are thousands of hours of collaboration and daily commitment from the teams. We congratulate the entire team at Volkswagen Motor Polska," added Dariusz Kowalski, head of the Leadec branch in Polkowice.
Reliable services for modern production
The VW plant in Polkowice covers an area of 200,000 square meters. Around 1,200 employees manufacture diesel engines, crankshafts, cylinder heads, and other components that are supplied to the vehicle assembly plants of Volkswagen, Škoda, Audi, and Seat.
A team of over 70 Leadec employees is responsible for production maintenance and technical facility management at the plant. These two areas complement each other perfectly. The factory service specialist also offers additional services, including the construction and adaptation of production lines, the manufacturing of spare parts, and the overhaul of spindles and other machine components.
Local partner for the industry
Leadec has been operating in Poland since 1998. The company has locations in Gliwice, Polkowice, and Poznan. However, most of its employees work directly at customer sites. In addition to installation, production equipment maintenance, and technical facility management, Leadec also offers industrial cleaning, automation solutions, and wheel and tire services. The company has many years of experience in the automotive industry, but also supports customers from other sectors, such as manufacturing, aerospace, and food production.
