Leadec expands portfolio to include telecommunication and fire alarm systems

Stuttgart/Herrnhut, Germany, 06/01/21 – Leadec acquired Gunter Scholz Kommunikationstechnik GmbH in Herrnhut, Saxony, on May 20, 2021. The service specialist is thus expanding its services to include telecommunication and fire alarm systems, which it will make available to its customers in their factories in the future.

“With our electrical installations and technical facility management, we bear responsibility for the functionality and safety of buildings and plants and create optimum conditions for our customers,” says Alexander Bonk, Senior Vice President Operations Germany at Leadec. “Systems are becoming increasingly networked, so the integration of telecommunication and fire alarm systems is a logical extension of our range of services. As a service specialist for the factory, we offer our customers integrated services from a single source.”

Founded in 1997, Gunter Scholz Kommunikationstechnik GmbH has extensive expertise in installing, servicing, and consulting for all aspects of telecommunication systems such as telephone, fire alarm and burglar alarm systems. A special focus is on the planning and implementation of fire alarm system projects.

This includes services concerning electrics, safety and security and communications as well as the installation, support and maintenance of fire alarm and fire protection systems. In addition, the company offers electrical engineering, software programming and CAD services for fire alarm zone drawings, escape routes and floor plans for the fire department. Leadec already offers electrical installations such as IT infrastructure or radio systems and provides services such as building automation and technical facilities management, which will be ideally complemented by the new services.
