Sustainability at Leadec Achieves Gold Standard

Leadec has once again been awarded the Gold Medal by the international rating agency EcoVadis. This places the company among the top 5% of all companies assessed worldwide and in the top 2% of its industry. In total, EcoVadis evaluates around 150,000 companies globally.

The award underscores Leadec’s commitment to consistently integrating sustainability into its strategy, services, and operational processes—from energy-efficient solutions for production facilities to responsible supply chains.

Top ratings for sustainable performance

In the latest EcoVadis rating, Leadec achieved 79 out of a possible 100 points, once again scoring well above average. The company performed particularly strongly in the environmental category, receiving 91 out of 100 points and the highest rating of “outstanding.”

Leadec also achieved strong results in the other assessment areas of labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. The rating thus confirms the company’s continuous progress in implementing international ESG standards across environmental, social, and governance (ESG) dimensions.

A global benchmark for sustainability

EcoVadis is one of the world’s leading platforms for sustainability and ESG ratings. Its assessments analyze the environmental, social, and ethical performance of organizations and create transparency in global supply chains. The evaluation is based on international standards as well as extensive documentation of policies, actions, and results in the areas of environmental management, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. The outcome is expressed as a score between 0 and 100 points, with top-performing companies receiving awards.

For many internationally active companies, the EcoVadis rating has become a key benchmark for evaluating business partners and suppliers. Transparency regarding sustainability performance is becoming increasingly important, particularly in the global industrial context. With its renewed Gold rating, Leadec reinforces its leading position in international sustainability rankings and sends a clear signal for responsible and future-oriented industrial services.
