At the heart of the challenge was a unique ritual: each participant wrote down a habit they wanted to adopt—whether physical, mental, or social—and placed it in a shared, transparent time capsule. This simple act turned good intentions into real commitments, fostering a sense of purpose and accountability.
The capsule remained sealed for 30 days. During this time, the focus was on consistency, not perfection. When it was finally opened, the key question was: Did you stick to it?
“In today’s fast-paced world, ‘health comes first’ is easier said than done. With this 30-day challenge, we wanted to encourage employees to take small, manageable steps for their own well-being—with the support of their team. That’s how sustainable habits are built,” explained Vikram Kaul, HR Director at Leadec India. The goal of the initiative was to promote self-awareness and long-term behavioral change, without pressure or competition.
From personal goals to lasting change
Everyone was free to choose their own focus: daily meditation, regular screen breaks, more physical activity, healthier eating, or mindfulness exercises. Step by step, these new habits became part of everyday life. Around 100 employees from different departments took part. What began as individual efforts turned into a collective movement.

Accountability makes the difference
Feedback on the challenge was overwhelmingly positive. Many participants stayed true to their goals and reported tangible successes. Some attended 20 yoga sessions, while others reserved an hour each day to play badminton. “I consistently walked 10,000 steps every day. The time capsule was a powerful and inspiring initiative that motivated me to focus on my health,” shared Vikram Kaul, who took part in the challenge himself.
The emphasis wasn’t on performance, but on the conscious choice to make a small, daily change. This steady effort helped establish new routines and laid the foundation for long-term positive development.
