Leadec establishes new company in France

Stuttgart, Germany/Paris, France, 02/02/23 – Leadec, leading global service specialist for the factory, expands its international footprint. Paris-based Leadec France SAS is now providing services to industrial customers in France, initially technical facility management and production equipment maintenance. This means that Leadec now has subsidiaries in 14 countries.

“The French market offers great potential in the industrial sector. With the new subsidiary, we are tapping into further segments and reaching regional customers from different industries like automotive and food and beverage,” says Ulrich Haas, Managing Director of the newly established company Leadec France SAS, who has been working in France for more than 20 years. “With Paris as our headquarters, we have chosen the center of France’s economic powerhouse and a strategically important transport hub.”

Leadec’s services will initially focus on technical facility management and production equipment maintenance. This involves consulting and conceptual design of maintenance strategies, but also maintenance, inspection and repair of entire production facilities and buildings. With its network of international experts and technical teams, Leadec is able to offer the full range of services for factories along their entire life cycle and corresponding infrastructure.

Greater competitiveness for the French industry

“For French industry, topics such as reindustrialization and decarbonization, sustainable production and smart factory are very important. And France is also among the leaders in electric mobility,” says Georgi Tschumburidse, member of the Board of Management at Leadec Europe. “And it’s about further strengthening the competitiveness of the companies based there. This is where Leadec comes in.”

Markus Glaser-Gallion, CEO of Leadec, sees the establishment of Leadec France SAS as particularly positive: “In recent years, we have grown strongly through strategic acquisitions. The establishment of our own French company shows how strong the industry is there. We want to support companies at their regional production sites with our services so that they can concentrate on their core processes. To start with, our activities will be concentrated in Angers, where a 30-strong Leadec team will provide logistics and maintenance services.”

Leadec has been supporting its customers along the entire production supply chain for 60 years and employs about 20,000 people worldwide. The service specialist is based at more than 300 sites, often directly at the customers’ plants and facilities.
