Leadec wins new contracts in Hamburg and Bremen

Stuttgart, Germany, 10/19/23 – Leadec has been awarded infrastructural and technical facility management (IFM and TFM) as well as technical cleaning services at the Mercedes-Benz plants in Hamburg and Bremen. The service specialist is thus now working at 15 of the manufacturer’s sites in Germany.

At the Bremen plant, Leadec has already been involved in logistics and maintenance projects for many years. Technical cleaning and infrastructural facility management have now been added. This means that Leadec now provides all cleaning services at this site.

In Hamburg, the service specialist is responsible for infrastructural facility management and, as a combined package, technical cleaning and technical facility management. The contracts each have a term of five years, and a total of around 800 employees will be on site.

“We are very pleased to have been awarded the new contracts for the Hamburg and Bremen plants. We were able to prove that we can successfully carry out short-term project start-ups to create optimum production conditions for our customers in the long term,” explains Alexander Bonk, Senior Vice President Operations of Leadec Germany. Some of the projects already started in April and June 2023. The remaining services will be provided from October this year.

Digital solutions

All contracts will use the Leadec.os digital platform to digitize the planning and delivery of all services. In addition, the team is using the new LARA (Leadec Asset Recording & Administration) tool for asset data capture for the TFM contract in Hamburg. This was developed to record all assets – from fire doors to ventilation systems – systematically and digitally at the beginning of a contract.
