Collection and use of personal data in the application process
Thank you for your interest in our company and your desire to become an employee of the Leadec Group. It is particularly important to Leadec to ensure the highest possible protection of your personal data. All personal data collected and processed as part of an application to Leadec is protected against unauthorized access and manipulation by technical and organizational measures.
Purpose of data collection
Your data will only be collected and processed for the purpose of filling positions within the Leadec group of companies. This means personal data will be used solely for the purpose of effective and correct handling of the application process and to make contact as part of the application process.
Party responsible for data collection
The responsible party for data collection in this sense is - in the case of an application for a specific advertised position - the company named in each case whose address data you will find on the relevant advertisement, for example.
The Leadec Group also has subsidiaries in countries where the European data protection law does not apply. If you apply for a position in these countries, we will make you aware that your data will be processed in these countries.
If you apply for a specific advertised position in the Leadec applicant management system, your data will be used by our central HR department and, where necessary, by the responsible HR managers of the company advertising the position.
Furthermore, your applicant data will only be passed on to affiliated enterprises to the extent you have given your consent. This consent is voluntary and can be revoked at any time with effect for the future by sending an e-mail to the contact person named in the application.
Data collection in the context of an application via the online application form
As part of completing the application form, you will be asked to provide personal data. In this respect we adhere to the principle of data minimization and data avoidance, which means you must only provide data that we need to make a full assessment of your application documents, such as your CV, or which we are legally required to collect. These mandatory details are marked with an *(asterisk). Your IP address is also processed for reasons of technical necessity and legal protection. Unfortunately, without this data we cannot conduct an assessment of your application documents. Of course you have the opportunity to provide voluntary information in the application form.
Your application documents are transmitted to us in encrypted form by our application system.
Data collection in the context of unsolicited applications
If you register in the application management system on your own initiative, your data is used - for the purpose of assessing your employment potential - by our central HR department and, depending on your qualifications and skills, by the HR managers in the relevant affiliated enterprises, where applicable.
Deletion of data
As part of your application, we ensure that your data is automatically deleted from our systems once the purpose for which it was received no longer applies. In principle, routines have been created to ensure that data is deleted after the purpose for which it was collected no longer applies or after the underlying retention period has expired. This means we store your data for the above-mentioned purpose until the application process has concluded and the relevant time periods have expired: at the latest six months after obtaining a decision. In the event of a negative decision, your applicant data will therefore generally be deleted after six months.
If your profile is of general interest to us, we would be glad to include you in our applicant pool and then store the data beyond the 6-month period. In this case, we will ask you for your consent before the 6-month period has expired and subsequently every 12 months and at the same time to update your profile. As soon as we no longer have your consent, we will delete your data.
Security and safety
In order to protect your data from manipulation, loss or destruction, the Leadec group of companies, together with all affiliated enterprises, uses technical and organizational measures that are continuously improved in line with technical progress.
You have the right to receive information about your personal data stored by us. Furthermore, you have the right to delete and correct your data, the right to data portability, the right to restrict data processing and the right to object to the processing of your data. To do so, you can send an e-mail to the contact person named in the application.
Your written application
Your written application will be handled in the same way as an online application. Your original documents will be returned to you at the latest once we have filled the position.
