To ensure sustainability it is integrated into all regions and aspects of our business functions, this is supported by a global network comprising Senior Managers, a Sustainability Team as well as Global and Regional Health & Safety Managers.
Leadec’s 2025 sustainability report is aligned with the draft version of the simplified European Sustainability Reporting Standards. Further, since finalization of the 2025 sustainability report, Leadec’s science-based emissions reduction targets have been approved by SBTi.

Leadec Holding BV & Co. KG has set a target to reduce absolute scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions 50.4% by 2036 from a 2024 base year.* Leadec Holding BV & Co. KG also has set a target to reduce absolute scope 3 GHG emissions from purchased goods and services, capital goods, waste generated in operations, business travel and end-of-life treatment of sold products 34.62% within the same timeframe.

KG also has set a target to reduce absolute scope 3 GHG emissions from purchased goods and services, capital goods, fuel and energy-related activities, upstream transportation and distribution, waste generated in operations, business travel, employee commuting, and end-of-life treatment of sold products 90% within the same timeframe.
*The target boundary includes land-related emissions and removals from biogenic feedstocks.
Leadec has achieved Gold status in the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) rating of the independent assessment platform EcoVadis. The audit covers the areas of environment, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement.
Leadec achieved a score of 79 out of a possible 100 points and now falls into the 95th percentile. This places us in the top 5 % of all companies worldwide in the ranking and in the top 2% of all companies within the electrical, plumbing and other construction installation activities sector.
The not-for-profit organization "CDP" (formerly: Carbon Disclosure Project) supports companies, cities, states, and regions in their efforts to determine and manage risks as well as opportunities related to climate change, water, and deforestation. Leadec fulfilled CDP questionnaire in September 2025 and received the Climate Change score “B” (Management level) as well as the Supplier Engagement Assessment (SEA) score “B-“ in February 2026.
The annual CDP reporting reflects the structured management of our climate ambitions and our commitment to transparency, continuous improvement, and meaningful environmental action.
