Krzysztof’s Journey: from apprentice to project manager

Krzysztof has been working at Leadec in Poland since his vocational training. In 14 years, he has seen a lot and achieved even more. Get to know his journey at Leadec.

Krzysztof, you started as an apprentice and now you manage projects. What has brought you this far?

One of the biggest opportunities came right when I started in 2007. I had the chance to start my apprenticeship before I finished school. At that time, I got time off to take my final exams. And opportunities like that have continued throughout my career at Leadec. My motivation was rewarded with praise and room for personal and professional development. Be it through more responsibility, exciting tasks or challenges, for example through different customer projects at different locations.

What role have development opportunities played at Leadec?

Right at the beginning, I learned how partnership and cooperation with the customer work, how our company works. What it means to show commitment and dedication. My first manager has been a great role model for me when it comes to leading employees well. Professionally, I trained to become an ISO-certified internal auditor and completed an MBA in change management, among other things. The development opportunities in a collegial environment, job security and prospects have always been important to me.

Do you have any recommendations for future or present Leadec employees?

Commitment and respect are always recognized and rewarded. Take advantage of development opportunities and look at what your colleagues are capable of. And very importantly: just start working, take a chance, and, above all, network within the company.
