“People who are healthy and feel well have more energy for what matters in life. That’s why we support our employees in strengthening both their physical and mental health,” says Christof Baumgart, SVP Global HR & Organization at Leadec.
Mental Health Week showcased the many ways this commitment comes to life around the world. In Brazil, mental health and emotional support took center stage as part of “Setembro Amarelo” (Yellow September). In Spain, colleagues shared practical tips on ergonomics and healthy work practices with young people. In Germany, Leadec offered training sessions on stress management, digital balance, and leading teams through change in a healthy way. In India, health screenings and one-on-one consultations complemented the program.
One thing became clear: often, it’s the small things that make a difference. Taking mindful breaks, connecting with colleagues, setting clear boundaries around availability, or going for a short walk outside can help reduce stress and recharge energy levels.
Mental Health Week provided a valuable opportunity for employees to focus more closely on their own well-being and to keep the topic visible in everyday work. At the same time, mental health is a challenge that extends far beyond a single awareness week. Through a variety of programs and initiatives, Leadec aims to strengthen awareness of the topic and provide employees with the best possible support in their daily working lives.
