Stuttgart, Germany, 9/4/19 - Henry Kohlstruck now joins the management team of Leadec and will be the new Executive President of Leadec's Europe division. Dr. Wolfgang Mauz, the former CEO of the Central Europe region, will hand over his operational responsibilities on October 1, 2019. He will continue to work on strategic tasks. This ensures a smooth succession: Henry Kohlstruck is a service sector expert with more than 25 years of management experience in the industry.

Stuttgart, Germany, 6/5/19 - Leadec has created an Innovation Hub: The Smart Factory Group develops digital service offerings and functions as a platform for intensive exchange, also with external technology partners. Dr. Bernd Voelpel will become Global Head of Smart Factory Group effective June 1.

Stuttgart, 5/3/19 - Leadec has launched 50/50 joint venture BAIC Leadec with Beijing Automotive Industry. With the Beijing-based company, this cooperation will help us meet the growing requirements for future-focused services in Chinese production facilities.

Stuttgart, 3/19/19 - As one of the world’s leading service providers, Leadec will showcase a cross-section of its range of technical services for production facilities at this year’s Servparc. An AR application allows visitors to the Leadec booth to vividly experience the options offered by the industrial services specialist for designing a sustainable factory. Leadec will also be giving some specialist presentations at Servparc, which will take place on June 25 and 26, 2019 in Frankfurt.

Stuttgart / Győr, Hungary, 3/13/19 - Industrial service provider Leadec continues its growth story and has increased its number of employees in Hungary by 150 people. The new employees are responsible for technical, infrastructural and logistics services in Leadec’s customer plants in Szentgotthárd and Győr.

Stuttgart/Niedernberg, 2018-12-21 – Today, the Leadec Group announced the closing of the sale of the Veltec Group to Plant Systems & Services PSS GmbH after receiving the competent competition authorities’ approval.

Stuttgart – December 13, 2018 – Dr. Achim Agostini will manage Leadec’s new Global Automation & Engineering Business Unit from January 1, 2019. He will also be responsible for installation services project business.

Stuttgart/Niedernberg, November 23, 2018 – Plant Systems & Services PSS GmbH has acquired the Veltec Group from the Leadec Group – subject to the fulfillment of standard conditions. Leadec will completely focus on its strategic growth targets in the manufacturing industry, while Veltec will strengthen its position in the process industry with this strategic partner.
