Leadec Brazil wins another food & beverage customer

Stuttgart, Germany/São Paulo, Brazil, 2/16/21 - The food producer Liotécnica Tecnologia em Alimentos has awarded Leadec a contract to provide services in its industrial plants, located in Embu das Artes in Brazil, for the first time. The Leadec employees assume the operational services in the industrial utilities and building maintenance processes. For Leadec, this means another contract award in the food & beverage industry.

Leadec expands its automation footprint with the acquisition of US-based Diversified Automation

Stuttgart, Germany/Louisville, KY, USA, 1/11/21 - Leadec has acquired Diversified Automation, an automation controls and software solution provider, effective December 31, 2020. With this acquisition, Leadec expands its portfolio into parcel automation and strengthens its existing operations in North America.

Leadec awarded contract until 2029 at Arnstadt engine crankcase plant

Stuttgart/Arnstadt, 11/12/20 - Since the foundation of the Arnstadt plant in 2011, Leadec has provided technical services there. By being awarded a contract again, the successful cooperation with MDC Power, a subsidiary of Daimler AG, will be continued until the end of 2029. In the next years, Leadec will be responsible for production equipment maintenance, logistics and facility management at the factory in Arnstadt.

Stuttgart, 10/6/20 - 38 young people have started their first vocational training year at Leadec, a leading provider of technical services in the manufacturing industries. 32 vocational training supervisors are responsible for training in 17 different occupations at 15 Leadec sites in Germany. The new training year starts under normal conditions.

Stuttgart, 9/15/20 - Leadec is a new member of the International Center for Networked, Adaptive Production (ICNAP) under the leadership of the Fraunhofer Institute for Production Technology IPT in Aachen. The ICNAP aims to find solutions for the transformation to Industry 4.0. Together with industrial partners it develops production systems and value chains and validates them on the basis of concrete manufacturing tasks.
