João Ricciarelli new CEO at Leadec in Brazil

Sao Paulo/Brazil, January 2, 2018 – João Ricciarelli succeeds Roberto Leme as the new CEO of Leadec in Brazil.

João Ricciarelli (53), who has been the COO of Leadec in Brazil since March 2017, will now also assume the role of CEO. He succeeds Roberto Leme (69), who has been successfully developing Leadec in Brazil since 2001, rendering outstanding service to the workforce and customers even during difficult market phases. Roberto Leme is now moving to the Supervisory Board and business support of Leadec Brazil, where he will continue to advise the company and drive forward its development in South America.

João brings to Leadec over 30 years of experience working in multinationals such as ABB where he had many different managerial positions, then moving to SKF where he worked abroad for 15 years, starting as Latin America Director, then Service Director for Europe and Country Manager in Canada. He was also Managing Director of Bombardier Transportation in Brazil from 2015 to 2016. Ricciarelli has a degree in electrical engineering from Escola de Engenharia Mauá.

In his previous position at Leadec he was already heavily involved in the development of the company's new strategy, within the framework of which Leadec aims to strengthen its product range and grow in a focused way. João Ricciarelli will work with his team in Brazil to drive forward the company's path to growth and consistently improve existing services. In this context, installation and maintenance lines are to be reinforced and measures taken to improve processes.

Leadec in Brazil currently has around 2,500 employees that provide services to major international automobile producers and automotive suppliers as well as other manufacturing companies. They primarily provide services such as disassembly and reassembly, automation, production maintenance and technical cleaning, and infrastructural and technical facility management.
