Services for leading-edge technology from a single source
Being the technical service provider on site, Leadec has provided manufacturing support for several years. The coated crankcases are later used in high-end engines. Therefore, the demands on quality are extremely high.
The highly complex production facilities in Arnstadt comprise a wide range of plant and equipment such as machining centers, robots and electric arc spraying facilities. Being a manufacturer-independent service provider, Leadec takes care of production equipment maintenance, automation and technical cleaning of all facilities as well as tool management at the Arnstadt plant.
Currently, about 50 Leadec employees provide all services from a single source on site and are also responsible for internal logistics, technical and infrastructural facility management. Having a duration of almost 10 years, this contract is Leadec’s longest contract ever in its almost 60-year company history.
Until the end of 2029 Leadec will be responsible for production equipment maintenance, logistics and facility management at the Arnstadt engine crankcase plant.
